Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport
This promotional piece was put together to highlight the new additions and upgrades to the airport! This promotional piece would primarily be used to promote the airport to airlines. The client wanted the renderings highlighted and so I tried to frame all the environmental renderings. I focused on a color and texture to warm up the renderings and I think it came out pretty cool. **Update: Apparently the Bluegrass Chapter PRSA awarded the promotional piece an Award of Merit.
Challenge & Solutions
The challenges were limited and the scope was wide open. I did want to make sure the color scheme was bold and adventurous. I tried to use a retro vibe so that it felt like it was from the past but updated enough to be modern and simple to read. I wanted to have texture, like old maps, and use simple fields of color to hold the bright colors that the complimented the brand identity of the butterfly!
