Villanova 50th anniversary logo
Event logos for Villanova are special, because I have such a heart for what they do for and with their student athletes. They honor the student-athlete in that order, “Student” and then “Athlete”, not a lot of universities can stake that claim. Villanova reached out for a special women’s logo that would a diverse mark, that could be placed and used by any and all to honor 50 years of women’s sports at the university. We got right to work!
Challenge & Solutions
The challenge was the unknowing of how and where this design would be used. The only information I was given was it was going to be used on uniforms as a patch and on social media. So, I thought a circle would be the best option especially for a patch and the social media. Later I found out they needed an animated version for a special event, signage and an awesome banner that hung from the ceiling of the arena all year!
